Today we took a three hour trip to see my husband's grandma. She recently turned 93! She does amazingly well for someone of her age; writing and reading daily are her favorite pastime. She loves to watch the kids play and that's when I caught her wonderful smile. It was nice to spend an afternoon with her, as always.
I can only hope to lead a rewarding and fulfilling life as hers. I love to listen to her stories from younger days and the love she found and nourished along the way.
