Thrill Seekers
Ten - Fifteen foot waves on Lake Michigan sprouted our curiosity to take a Sunday drive to the lakeshore. At White Lake Pier, we found these youngsters playing a game of tag with the brutal cold waves. I could watch them only long enough to take a few photos, but couldn't bring myself to witness their actions any longer. If one of them were to be swept off the pier, there was no way anyone could help.
I have received many emails about how my blog has become so inactive. At first, I was holding onto those final summer days with my children. That was August. Now it's nearly November. I was snapping photos daily, but when I missed a day in September, I took it pretty hard. I had worked so hard to find something to photograph through my busiest and ill days. Then one day I simply forgot, the routine I had been accustomed to had been disturbed. It's been downhill since. Now I simply shoot when I want. And it's on this blog, I will continue to share my photography, my art, my life.
