Toy of the YearMy 19 month old loves to play with our toilet paper. Really, it should win some sort of inventive children's toy award. He also enjoys pulling kleenex out of the box and shredding each tissue by hand. I should have taken a photo from the damage he did while I was in the shower today:)
I had a hard time deciding which photo to post for my 366 days, but I went with the TP for the "appealing to all" factor. Then I thought well, I like this one too, for much different reasons:
Stirrups
I like it because it's different. How many people actually photograph these things? I figured if Lanie can bring her camera with her to the dentist I should bring mine along for my annual trip to see my OB/GYN, right? HA! This will either make all my male friends say, "what the hell?" or maybe turn a slight shade of red. As long as it gets your attention, I suppose it's alright :) I love my doctor, but he mentioned next year I'll need that "M" word. Whoa, what? I thought that was for 40 somethings....
The walls are actaully a soft, calming yellow; I think that's standard. So I spruced it up and played with the color to make it look the way some patients might feel, especially those being there for the first time. I've had three kiddos, so it's nothing new for me.
