I Scream, You Scream...


The photo below is actually my photo of the day, but I like how the two together tell a story. My daughter celebrated Valentine's Day with her 1st grade classmates. I was the ice cream scooper :) They had a full selection of yummy toppings to make their sundaes personalized.

The kids wasted no time devouring their special treats. After the ice cream there were homemade cookies to eat. Can you say sugar rush? My daughter received a special handmade Valentine from her 'boyfreind'. It reads: Hello Chelsea outsibe it is colb but no matr wut's it lice we will olwes be together. Hue me. B mine. rosis are red vilets are blue i like you two. be my valontin kyle. As much as I discourage her from having a 'boyfriend', how can she resist that? I also had an interesting conversation with this sweet talker. I won't go into details, but I will say my husband wants to start volunteering too. He wants to keep a close eye on this boy :)
