The calm after the storm. Well, calm for those of you without kids home from school AGAIN. They've been off school three straight days; it's unbelievable. There's nothing calm around here today, but I did catch the sun trying to break through the thick clouds this morning. I shot this through my office window and I focused on the wire screen. I used a small aperture to catch some outdoor detail in my backyard. We've gone nearly ten days without seeing the sun. It's depressing and blah. At least I can smile when I send my kiddos out to play in the foot of snow!
