April Showers

A stormy night of a different sorts for us tonight. Normally it's my oldest two children that freak out seeing bolts of lightening and hearing rumbles/crashes of thunder. Tonight one of the dogs we're watching was more afraid than the kids. I'm not saying Chelsea and Alex weren't scared. I'll just say our bed was filled over capacity! It was cute hearing Chelsea try and comfort the dog, even if it was 1:30am. This shot is through my dining room window looking down into the woods.  I tried to catch the flashing lightening, but had to rely on the outdoor halogen for my light source.
