My kids have been begging for a Wii for months now. It was easy saying no because they're never in stock. It wasn't us that we're the ones giving them disappointment, it was the store clerks. They handled the truth well. Chelsea and I were out-n-about this morning and she asked if we could check. If you had seen the look on her face when the clerk told her, "we have one left" there would be no way you could say no either. Excitement filled the house quickly, and disappointment soon followed when we told them we didn't have time to hook it up and play. What are we teaching our children with instant gratification anyway?
