We experienced on and off downpours all afternoon today. My daughter had mentioned that her old rain boots were getting tight. The rainfall reminded me of her request for new boots. While she was at school, I bought her a pair and she was so excited seeing them waiting for her on the porch. She couldn't wait to try them out and of course had to find the deepest puddle. The skies opened up and the sun peeked out just long enough for them to have their fun (Alex is splashing in the background). It almost makes me want to buy a pair for myself and splash long with them.
