We attended a birthday party at Millennium Park today. It was hot and humid, a great day for water fun. This photo of Carter was taken on the beach, but I added a texture to play around with background. His hair cracks me up :)
Eli the Builder
Bob the builder was the party theme and the kids all had plastic construction hats to wear instead of the normal birthday hats. Eli wore his hat sideways and held it down so it wouldn't blow off.
Second Thoughts
After spending a couple hours on the beach and enjoying birthday cake, we headed over to the splash pad. Jake watched as Alex was dumped with water from a bucket above. After that, Jake decided this area wasn't for him and headed over to a more calm water activity.
