Chicago's Lincoln Park area is filled with beautiful old brick buildings which are mostly condos for the wealthy now. 652 faces Oz Park, a place we took the kids Saturday early afternoon. We rode the L and walked a few blocks to find a busy park. Sunbathers dotted the sunny open grass and families/nannies filled the playground.
Chelsea had spiked a fever and wasn't herself. We stopped by a drug store along our way and bought her some medication. She napped using my thigh as a pillow as the motrin worked it's magic. Alex was exhausted and while taking a break, he actually fell asleep. Eli was our only child excited about the new surroundings. He followed the lead of the older kids and loved going down this slide head first.
Dorothy's Red Shoes
I had to get a picture of Dorothy & Toto, a statue at one entrance of Oz Park. The red shoes made me think of a special friend and I thought she would certainly appreciate this photo.
